About the Dentist

Meera Dahiya D.D.S

Meera Dahiya DDS is a graduate of the University of Kansas City, Missouri where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1995. She is one of the very few who received the prestigious UMKC Dean's Scholarship in 1991, 1992 and 1994. In addition, she also received the Rhinehart Scholarship award in 1992 and the Abney Scholar's Foundation award in 1994. After graduating from UMKC, Dr. Dahiya was selected to complete a post-graduate General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Dahiya has been providing high quality dental care with a gentle, people-oriented approach in the DFW Metroplex for 14 years. She is devoted to innovative, leading-edge dental care. In addition to educating herself continuously, Dr. Dahiya is an active member in numerous state and national dental associations. Dr. Dahiya chose dentistry to not only help people stay healthy, but to directly have a positive impact on their lives.

When not at the office, you can find Dr. Dahiya and her family enjoying just about anything outdoors. Traveling and reading are her hobbies.

Dr. Dahiya appreciates and enjoys the simple things in life, that is why she believes in establishing friendly, informal relationships with her patients. Nothing helps more in establishing mutual trust than getting to know each other. Dr. Dahiya believes that communication is the key, and she always takes the time to explain, educate and make her patients comfortable. Dr. Dahiya prefers to have a cozy, family-like atmosphere in her office, rather than a formal clinical setting, and our patients enjoy that. We hope that you will too.
